Meeting Day/Time: The 2023 County Committee Organizing Meeting will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at The New York Society for Ethical Culture, located at: 2 West 64th Street, New York, NY 10023. Doors will open at 6:00pm, with the program expected to begin at 7:00pm, provided quorum is achieved.
In accordance with Article II Section 6(d) of the County Rules and Regulations the agenda for the County Committee Organizing Meeting will be as follows:
(i) Roll call;
(ii) Election of a Temporary Chairperson;
(iii) Election of a Temporary Secretary;
(iv) Election of persons to fill vacancies in the County Committee;
(v) Election of the Chairperson;
(vi) Election of the Secretary;
(vii) Adoption of Rules and Regulations;
(viii) Election of other officers;

Proposed Rule Changes | The Rules Committee has discussed a number of amendments and has voted to advance a proposal to amend our County Party Rules as follows: Rules Proposal
Note | Speaker systems, megaphones, and other noise amplification equipment other than those provided by the venue will not be permitted inside the meeting space. Individuals attempting to bring such equipment into the room must leave the equipment at check-in or otherwise will not be permitted in the venue.
