In order to select a Democratic Nominee for the Special Election to be held in February 2026, the Manhattan Democratic Party will hold nominating meetings of the 47th Senate District Committee on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 9:00pm for District Leaders and on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 5:00pm for County Committee Members. All interested candidates are invited to participate.
