As per the December 9, 2021 proclamation issued by Governor Kathy Hochul, a vacancy exists in the office of the Member of the Assembly of the State of New York from the sixty-eighth Assembly District in New York County, caused by the resignation of Robert Rodriguez.
In order to select a Democratic Nominee for the Special Election to be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2021, the Manhattan Democratic Party will hold a nominating meeting of the 68th Assembly District Committee on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00am.
